Places that helped me after losing my job (update)

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a teaching assistant in Salt Lake City. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. What else is out there?

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.

The job club at my workforce centre introduced me to two people who later referred me.
