Places that helped me after losing my job (update)

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a retail manager in Austin. I am in Austin, in case local advice matters. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
