Places that helped me after losing my job (update)

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. Any experience at all would help. A food pantry near me has evening hours. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
