Places that helped me after losing my job (Omaha)

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a machine operator in Omaha. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. What else is out there?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
