Places that helped me after losing my job - first time posting

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. I am in Honolulu, in case local advice matters. A food pantry near me has evening hours. Any other programmes worth trying?

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.
