Places that helped me after losing my job - first time posting

I found a few free services in Birmingham that I did not know about. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The library had résumé help and free computer time. What else is out there?

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
