Places that helped me after losing my job - first time posting

I found a few free services in Birmingham that I did not know about. I worked as an office manager before this. The library had résumé help and free computer time. What else is out there?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
