Places that helped me after losing my job - first time posting

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a home health aide in St. Louis. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. What else is out there?

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
