Places that helped me after losing my job - first time posting

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. Any other programmes worth trying?

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
