Places that helped me after losing my job

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a mechanic in Charlotte. I worked as a mechanic before this. The library had résumé help and free computer time. What else is out there?

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
