Places that helped me after losing my job

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a production planner in Fresno. There are 8 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. A food pantry near me has evening hours. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
