Places that helped me after losing my job

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. I am in Minneapolis, in case local advice matters. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Any other programmes worth trying?

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.
