Places that helped me after losing my job (Boston)

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a production planner in Boston. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. What else is out there?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
