Places that helped me after losing my job - any advice?

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. It has been a long 4 weeks. A food pantry near me has evening hours. Has anyone used the tax clinics?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
