Places that helped me after losing my job - any advice?

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. I am in Austin, in case local advice matters. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
