Places that helped me after losing my job - any advice?

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a hotel front-desk agent in Baltimore. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
