Places that helped me after losing my job

I found a few free services in Detroit that I did not know about. I am in Detroit, in case local advice matters. The library had résumé help and free computer time. What else is out there?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
