Phone and internet help for people out of work - what worked for you?

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. It has been a long 20 weeks. Some applications need a computer. Did you qualify for any programmes?

Keep the number you use for job applications, even if you change plans. Employers will call it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
