I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I worked as a mechanic before this. Employers call and email constantly. Did you qualify for any programmes?

Keep the number you use for job applications, even if you change plans. Employers will call it.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
