Phone and internet help for people out of work - what worked for you?

My home internet costs more than I can manage on unemployment. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some applications need a computer. Did you qualify for any programmes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
