Phone and internet help for people out of work (update)

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some applications need a computer.

Keep the number you use for job applications, even if you change plans. Employers will call it.

I switched to a low-cost plan through my carrier and cut my bill by almost half.
