Phone and internet help for people out of work (update)

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I am in Oklahoma City, in case local advice matters. I heard of low-cost plans for people with limited income.

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
