Phone and internet help for people out of work (St. Louis)

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some applications need a computer. What did you switch to?

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.
