Phone and internet help for people out of work (Memphis)

I use my phone as my only connection. I worked as a hotel front-desk agent before this. Employers call and email constantly. What did you switch to?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
