Phone and internet help for people out of work, customer-service rep here

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Employers call and email constantly. What else should I consider?

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.
