Phone and internet help for people out of work - any advice?

I use my phone as my only connection. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Employers call and email constantly.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.
