Phone and internet help for people out of work - any advice?

My home internet costs more than I can manage on unemployment. Any experience at all would help. Employers call and email constantly.

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
