Phone and internet help for people out of work after 7 years as a data-entry clerk

My home internet costs more than I can manage on unemployment. Employers call and email constantly. What else should I consider?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
