Phone and internet help for people out of work after 4 years as an electrician's helper

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I worked as an electrician's helper before this. Some applications need a computer. Did you qualify for any programmes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
