Phone and internet help for people out of work after 16 years as an event coordinator

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I worked as an event coordinator before this. Some applications need a computer. What else should I consider?

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.
