Phone and internet help for people out of work

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I worked as a call-centre agent before this. Employers call and email constantly. What else should I consider?

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.
