Phone and internet help for people out of work - 2 months and counting

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I heard of low-cost plans for people with limited income. What else should I consider?

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.
