Phone and internet help for people out of work

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some applications need a computer. What did you switch to?

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
