Mental health while out of work - what worked for you?

I miss my old team and the routine that came with being a call-centre agent. I am in Sacramento, in case local advice matters. I do not want to pretend I am fine. How do you ask friends for support?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
