Mental health while out of work

I miss my old team and the routine that came with being a machine operator. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want to pretend I am fine. How do you ask friends for support?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
