Mental health while out of work

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. Any experience at all would help. I do not want to pretend I am fine. What helps you?

Community mental-health services often have sliding-scale fees. I found mine through 211.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
