Mental health while out of work - any advice?

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. I worked as a medical assistant before this. Some days I feel numb. Did you talk to someone?

I told two friends how I really felt. It was uncomfortable, but it made things lighter.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
