Mental health while out of work after 18 years as a retail manager

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some days I feel numb. Did you talk to someone?

I told two friends how I really felt. It was uncomfortable, but it made things lighter.

Short walks helped me more than I expected. Even ten minutes changed my mood.
