Mental health while out of work after 17 years as an IT help-desk technician

Being out of work for 9 months has worn me down more than I expected. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some days I feel numb.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
