Mental health while out of work after 16 years as a school bus driver

Being out of work for 7 months has worn me down more than I expected. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some days I feel numb. How do you ask friends for support?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
