Mental health while out of work after 11 years as a security officer

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. It has been a long 19 weeks. I do not want to pretend I am fine. How do you ask friends for support?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
