Mental health while out of work - 9 months and counting

I miss my old team and the routine that came with being an electrician's helper. It has been a long 12 weeks. Some days I feel numb. How do you ask friends for support?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
