Local services for people out of work in Seattle (update)

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as an office manager in Seattle. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. Any other programmes worth trying?

Call 211 to hear about local help with food, rent and utilities. It is free and open at all hours.

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.
