Local services for people out of work in San Diego - what worked for you?

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. I worked as a machine operator before this. A food pantry near me has evening hours. Any other programmes worth trying?

Call 211 to hear about local help with food, rent and utilities. It is free and open at all hours.

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
