Local services for people out of work in San Diego (update)

A neighbour pointed me to a programme that I wish I had known earlier. A food pantry near me has evening hours. Any other programmes worth trying?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
