Local services for people out of work in Salt Lake City (update)

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a security officer in Salt Lake City. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. A food pantry near me has evening hours. What else is out there?

Thanks for this. The library also had printing and a quiet room that I used for phone interviews.
