I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a hotel front-desk agent in Salt Lake City. I am in Salt Lake City, in case local advice matters. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Any other programmes worth trying?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
