I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a bookkeeper in Sacramento. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The workforce centre ran a weekly job club. Any other programmes worth trying?

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.
