Local services for people out of work in Sacramento - 6 weeks in

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as a software tester in Sacramento. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The library had résumé help and free computer time. Has anyone used the tax clinics?

I found free tax help through a community volunteer programme. It saved me a fee.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
