Local services for people out of work in Richmond (update)

I want to share what helped me after being laid off as an accounts payable clerk in Richmond. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The library had résumé help and free computer time. What else is out there?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
